I've decided whilst I'm saving up for my engine work to be done I'm going to make myself content by making my mini look different.
So I'm going to base it around the Red Italian Job mini.
I need bonnet straps, where from?
Seing as I can't really remove my arches (93 cooper) I want to match them to the colour of the car and get some chrome to run along side them. Will the chrome you use to line the arches work?
I'm still having trouble wiring up my existing spot lights (2 of) I want to add the third. I still can't find the relay that the head lamps connect too as apprantly thats were my spots are meant to go. Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers.

what arches do you have at the moment? you'll need group 2 classic arches to use the trim! You can make the bonnet straps yourself out of a couple of belts if needs be! Seen this done before and it looks quite good!

Got the standard arches that came with the mini. 93' SPI
I could try making them with old belts or new. I'd still rather get the real deal though.
Getting rid of some rust next pay check. Woot.

My friend got a set of full length bonnet straps for his mk1 off ebay, might be some on every now and again
Why not change to 10's and get some old cooper wheels or the ones minispeed sell to make it look more like the Italian job mini?
