Hi,
Was fitting new bearings, ball joints and the like. While under the arch I barely touched it and the bump stop fell off! Little bugger...
Is this easily replaced or is it a case of removing the top arm and dropping out the hi-lo?
Cheers,
Ross

easy to replace just jack up the hub so the top arm lifts up enough to allow you to slip it in position. i always use new screws though.

That is the rebound stop, if you lift the arm to get at it. The bump stop is the pointy rubber thing above the arm. They are both essential.
I only point that out in case you ask for, and get, the wrong part.

Thats the blighter above the top arm. Can i pop the nut on and off the back of it without emoting lots of bits or will it be a mini adventure?

I have recently done this on my project.
It is very fidily but you can get a spanner behind there to undo it.
If not you can just drill out the old one ( Very easy ) and pop the new one in with a spring washer.

Thanks Andrew. I'll save up some money for the swear box then and give it a go.
