I put my mini on ebay a few days and its almost at the reserve price with 2 days to run, so looks like it will probably be sold soon, it'll be the first time in 18 years i haven't owned a mini of some sorts. It has just sat in the garage for years doing nothing though, i had a little welding accident and since the mini flame went into flames I kind of lost interest, feeling quite sad about saying goodbye to it though.

Might have to keep a eye out for a running project, rather than a major rebuild though :) its been years since I actually drove one.

Yeah thats the one, I still have many parts of the 1380 I was going to build for it, might just keep them ready to put in another mini some other time, I'm quite lucky to have the TVR (well 3 at the moment, soon to be reduced), thing is I spend lots of time keeping them on the road but I've had a mini since I was 16 and will be very sad to see this one go.

Have found myself looking at cars that could live outside under a cover, but not sure how much I'd actually use it, I have a MX5 that hasn't turned a wheel in over a month, considering selling that as well, maybe i'm getting old lol!

I'll let this one go to someone who will hopefully build it back into the car it used to be, then maybe buy myself one which has had the hard work done, mechanical work isn't too much hassle, but I can't do welding in the garage where I can work on cars as have no power.

Really don't want to let the MX5 go either mind, have spent a lot of time and effort making it stupidly fast :D

Although I need it moved soon as possible if someone needed a week or so extra I could keep it here a little longer, just put that in the add to stop time wasters not turning up for ages then backing out of it.

After owning 6 minis, I said in 1985 I wouldn't have another. Driving one last year changed all that....

Ah you had to say that. I will be watching at the end and I can still afford it I'll put a bid in.

the MX5 is a good sideways car, better now its turbo'd though, the MPG was never great standard though (around 28mpg on a run) can actually get better than that now its running a decent ECU.
