Hi all, I am looking at changing the pads on my mini and was wondering which one`s to go for? I`ve heard good things about EBC greenstuff pads but are there any others to consider? I`m running 8.4 discs.
Many thanks

Standard pads are fine - make sure the discs are clean (both sides) and the caliper pistons are moving freely.......

most people say that the mintex pads are best for fast road use...

Mintex are great, or EBC blackstuff, basically the same as Mintex. Greenstuff are pish for daily use, only really work when the brakes are getting very hot, ie racing or if you like coasting down steep hills.

Oh right ok thanks for that, I`ll have a look at Mintex then. What are they like for dust and wear?

Dust wise, about the same as standard ones, wear wise, I change mine about once a year, but it all depends on how many miles you do and how hard you drive. Overall I think they wear about the same as good standard pads.

I've used EBC greens on mine and there fine! they stop quickly, to be honest just like the old ones, could not say I've noticed and difference.
