Hi guys, recently bought myself a first mini. It came without a dashboard so i set myself the task of making one......  IMG_0289.jpg   36.88K   39 downloads

But now im stuck, I cant decide weather or not to fit a centre console. And if i did, what would i put in it?? Any ideas appreciated

nice dash mate looks good, i have a center console in my car but with nothing in it, i just think they look better with them

I want/need that dash, that looks the nuts, how about centre console with air vents or a dvd screen if you're going for the modded look

i used to have one with speakers in the side and a radio in the front, i took it out because i didnt like it tho, if you do put one in , make sure it dosent block the clutch, it was quite tight in mine with my big shoes on lol

Thanks mate glad u like it. Switches are "savage switches", just type it into google and they should pop up. Around £15 per switch though mind! They do look good though.

Was thinking about air vents but I put a new heater matrix in that only has two vents so they are both running to the windscreen. Demists in a second though! So worth doing...
As far as a DVD screen is concerned, I just think it'd be to low down in the car to be useful ya know. Maybe I'll just shove a couple of speakers in there!

Don't worry mate I'm on top of that, I had my tape measure out already to check ill have clearance, should be ok just about. May have to make it taper in slightly on drivers side to avoid that problem.
