Hi,

I was in a friends JWC Mini recently and couldn't help but fall in love with the steering wheel. Is there a boss kit to fit the BINI steering wheel to a classic mini?

I'm going to get one with no buttons or paddle shifts obviously.

And I'm looking for advice on if there is a boss kit or how to fit. Not people's opinion on the steering wheel or how its un traditional.

ITS MY CAR AND MY MONEY>

Sorry for the little rant

Noah

To my knowledge there are no boss kits for something like that, I'm assuming you would have to get a hold of a bini column and modify it extensively, if you're driving an older mini it would be more cost effective to fit an MPI wheel & column, however I'm sure someone on here could shed more light on what work would be involved in doing something like that.

Okay fair enough, I'm i only wanted the leather steering wheel :P. Not much point in spending that amount of money on it, maybe just get an MPI wheel then? Its a 94' car.

An mpi wheel still won't fit as that has a different spline too. You'll need a mpi column to fit it. BMW mini is the same as a peugeot 207 column and from memory same as the newer style ford focus

Only if you make it. There are plenty of wheels available for the spi and earlier cars. Try and find different ones for a later mpi column
Standard steering wheels are made to fit one type of car, so bmw, vauxhall and such like
