for filler primer 2k i use 1.4mm
and for basecoat and clear coat i use 1.3mm
so you could probably be ok with 1.4mm as an all rounder
edit to say thats a gravity fed gun and DeVilbiss is one id recomend

I am using a 1.4mm suction feed with 2K at the moment and I can not get on with it at all. I am trying to get hold of a new gravity feed to give that a go.
I also find it annoying having to paint the flat surfaces first with a suction feed gun, bonnet, roof, tops of wings etc as when you get to the bottom of the can it has to be held upright so that the last 1/4 of the can can be used.
If that makes sense?
