have removed the drums from my 1983 mini mayfair, and the drum brakes on the front are dual cylinder and the ones on the back are single cylinder, will the brake shoes for rear drum brakes fit on the front drum brakes, as i am unsure, as most websites do not show any results for front drum brake parts
any help will be greatly appreciated! :D

Brake shoes are cheap. It's not worthwhile try to swap them. Throw them away and fit a new set.

He's asking whether they are the same as he cannot find information for the front ones not swapping them.

I think he means can you use new rear shoes on the front drums, as he couldnt find any front-specific shoes. If that's the case, here's a link to the front shoes on Minispares :-) (or non-geniune)

The front and rear shoes are not the same, and are not interchangeable. The twin leading shoe front shoes are 1 1/2" wide, the rears 1 1/4". The single leading shoe front brakes, not the case here, happen to be 1 1/4" wide, but again different to the rears.

There is full information and illustrations almost as good as the old Rover parts books on the Somerford Mini web site, which is much more useful than the Minispares site. Shop around for the best price, of course.
