need help with engine steady.

hi, just bought this engine steadyPosted Image, i dont have a clue where it fits on my mini though, can anyone tell me how it fits?

If you look inside your engine bay,look at the top right hand side of the head and look directly back to the bulk head,you'll find a hose coming out of the bulk head (not on some later models but hole will still be there).there should be 4 bolts there,this is where the angle part with 4 holes goes.Then look slightly right to the radiator cap,find the top heater hose ,this will go to a 3 bolts on the head to where the thermostat is,put the larger boxish type part to.On some there is a hole in this that goes into the furthest right exhust mount.

Theres two types though. Theres the 1275 which, IIRC, have three holes on the ankle bit of the bracket, and bolt to every thermostat housing stud/bolt. 998 steadies have 2 holes on the bracket, and hence, only bolt to two of the thermostat housing studs/bolts.

Which would mean you have a 998 engine steady.
