What's this thing and what is it for? Can't see anything like it on minispares or anywhere. Connects to coil with piggyback connector which has the yellow/pink wires attached? Thanks

If you listen to the radio in your car it helps stop interference. Even without it your radio might be ok worth checking.....I don't know what else it does.

It doesn't do anything else, but is worth keeping unless it is broken.

i used mine to manipulate the time vortex, unfortunately i connected it in series and sped up the rust.

I defer to Tiger. However, it is really just a capacitor between the coil (+) terminal and earth. I imagine you could use a Lucas condenser as found inside a points type distributor. Maybe Tiger will know what the size/rating of the noise filter is in micro-Farrads and can confirm if a condenser would be a suitable swap.
