She has been well loved by me for the last two years and I have done much work to her! She is very clean and tidy but does need a little TLC to get perfect.
I got her two years ago in a bit of a mess, had been off the road for 8 years with a blown engine. She had no interior and generally neglected.
When I purchased her she came with the following;
Rear beam axle with KYB coilovers
Front hi-lo's with spax adjustable shocks.
Electric fuel pump
Twin 1.25 su's
Fuel king pressure regulator.
2" centre exit exhaust with 3" backbox.
I have done:
New engine -
1275 metro engine rebored +60 to 1330
Minispares MEGA pistons
Metro turbo oil pump
Duplex timing
New gearbox with 3.4 diff
Swapped exhaust for maniflow twin box side exit system
Interior.
Mpi black carpet
Ford KA dash.
MG half leather seats in black/red
Carpeted rear seat squab.
Faux leather custom door cards.
Body:
Group 2 arches and side strips,
Re-alighned the front as was poorly fitted by previuos owner causing the scuttle damage shown in the photo.
It's very clean no rust in usual places scuttles, sills, a panels, valance, floors and boot all very solid.
One area of MINOR blistering under OS/R window. (See photo)
Pictures of floor, boot, a panels and under headlight seam show how good condition it is in!
Steel removable front. No cheap fibreglass here!!
Dual skin fibreglass bootlid.
Refurbed the wheels, painting them gloss White.
The engine has done roughly 3000 miles since rebuild, took it IMM in Switzerland 2011 and plenty of power to keep up with modern traffic although not so great for your eardrums!! Nice and reliable, never had a problem with the engine! Has new clutch, new brake pads front new back plates and shoes on rear. Exhaust is brand new... Only put on this week!
I said it needs a little TLC to get it perfect so here are bad points. The dash needs finishing. It's all in there and working however just needs the finishing touches! Was going to get it flocked. You can either finish it or just remove it and fit a standard dash back in... Up to you!
And the paint work I give a 85 out 100! Looking a bit tired, polishes up a dream and really shines but few scratches and scuffs and has a few small patches. One slight scuff on N/S/F wing (see pic) but if you don't know theyre there you don't notice them.
She comes with tax until 31.10.12 and will have 12 month MOT for new owner!
I don't want to sell her but I can't give her the love or time she deserves! Hate seeing her parked up not being enjoyed So I'm open to offers around £2k mark. I have a price in mind and will sell for that price. Make me an offer,the worst I can do is say no!!
However, silly offers that offend me or kernow will not be tolerated!! Lol ;)
