Did you try and trace the broken pipe to see where it went?

It seemed like you didn't in your above posts, trace it you'll see where it goes. The mini is a small engine, not difficult to see where it all goes.

Fair enough. Basically if you're talking about the pipe that should be attached to the breather cannister then that should be attached to the carb. Its to recycle the harmful gasses that come from the engine.

It usually connect to to the carb via "y" piece in-between the tube that comes from the clutch end to the carb, which I believe you already have plumbed in?

should look like that, its not the same carb (HIF) but same principal: (ignore the drawing on it. its the tube that has the joint in it)

I'm reading old topics. Did you get to the bottom of the hose scenario? On a 1275 engine ( not sure what yours is) there are two breather canisters, one on the clutch housing, one on the timing side, each has a hose coming up from these canisters, they are then usually connected to a plastic 'T' piece, i.e making two pipes (from the breather canisters) to one, now that one connects to the carb exactly where freshairmini mentioned above. You can see freshairmini's 'T' junction above, the LHS pipe runs to the left (clutch casing breather) & the right side of the pipe off to the timing breather canister.
