Hello thanks for the advice just looked in the dashpot , unscrewed the top and the screw bit pulls out is that the oil indicator or as soon as you open the pot you get the little threaded dish bit then it closes and goes down to a smaller bit and into the carb should I see oil in that bit where it's threaded ? Hope you can help thankyou

Yes you put oil in that slim tube and fill it up to just before the threads start. When you unscrew the cap it has a plunger attached to it. pop in the oil and when you put the plunger back in you will feel resistance,thats normal. be careful that you get the thread straight before tightening it back up. I usually turn the thread the opposite way a few turns just to get it level then turn the right way so it tightens finger tight. hope that helps some.

Got back today and went down halfords and got some oil and topped it up, thank you for the advice it seems to be running sweet i will run it for a couple days and see what its like but thank you it seems to of worked.
