Can someone confirm that these fit the HIF44? Even though it says 1.5"

thats for a hs 4. a hif44 is 1.75 i think

1.5" carbs are hs2s, or hif38s. You need a 1.75", for a hs4 or a hif44

I'll tell you why I'm asking, I was reading some other posts regarding this stub stack and noticed Bungle has one on his, and I'm pretty sure it's a HIF44 he's got.....if you can see this Bungle can you please let me know!! =]

no it wont fit, its for a HS4. hole too small for a HIF44

There's also an HS8 which is a 2" carb as fitted to Jags and and TR6's

There has never been an 'HS1' carb - just the H 1. At £25 that stub thing is extremely poor value for money in terms of power. Just file a nice radius on the carb inlet.......same effect (minimisation of the vena contracta) and zero cost....
