Hi guy's I'm new to the forum and I've recently bought a 1998, 1.3 MPI Cooper and when I bought it, it did not come with the code for the stereo, could some please help me as when I drive i have nothing to listen to? :/

Good luck mate, I had the same problem when I got Stella. I had a look online and you can pay some companies about £40 to come and sort it for you...In the end I just bought a new HU. Every radio has a unique code so its a bit difficult

I'd rather keep the original look.

You can get it decoded on line for about a tenner.

I'm currently using one of those cheap MP3 to tape converters instead of tapes. It works fine. The radio also works OK.

If your really into ICE then upgrade the head unit. I just enjoy the originality of the rover unit

If you have the original sales invoice for when the car was bought, it will say it on there! :proud:
