"Just in From a dry Sunny state of Australia. This is a 1966 Early mini moke with 10" wheels. The car we think is an ex PMG (post master general) hence the red paint over the original green paint. There are also a number of markings and numbers on the body that add to this being an ex post office vehicle.
The car has been dry stored for a longtime in Oz so needs reconditioning before an MOT. the car starts on the button and drives well, there are no brakes though!! but this would only need wheel cylinders and shoes then flexi hoses. The 850 engine seems really sweet and though the clutch slave cylinder is leaking it does engage gear of your quick! We have had a good look around the moke and rust wise it is in amazing order. the front floors n/s and o/s have been plated but other than that she is rock solid.
I would suggest you come and have a good look at the moke before bidding to ensure you appreciate how solid this is compared to blown over rusty U.K or Tropical imports!! All paperwork for proof of import and tax/duty is present and we can guide you through the registration process. "
Just the thing for the 30-second gaps between thunderstorms..
