The engine has been built up from bits of two others. It is a later bottom end running an earlier round tooth belt set up. It is using a distributor and coil with motronic 2.5 ecu. It has a later alternator with the flat belt drive. The exhaust manifold has not be cut or welded and has a lambda sensor fitted.
The guy who sold the bottom end to me said it had only done 9000 miles since its rebuild. I cannot confirm this but if you saw the bores then you would definitely believe this as there was no wear ridge in the bore. The pistons were also spotless, no carbon build up at all.
The cylinder head has had 4 new valves put in it to replace the bent ones, new valve stem seals, new head gasket, rocker cover seals and head bolts. New inlet and exhaust manifold gaskets have been fitted. A brand new water pump has been fitted and a new oil return gasket.
The only thing that this engine will need is an oil filter and oil. It has not been run since it has been assembled. I would advise that once a few miles have been done that the oil and filter is changed. The clutch has life left in it. It will need centralising and the bolts tightened up as I don't have a clutch centralising tool so couldn't do it.
It was built by my house mate Dom and I as a bit of fun with the intention of running it on our university's engine dyno but we were forced to move it out of our house before we had chance.



The ecu and wiring loom aren't pictured but are included.
I may split if there is enough interest however I have a lot of spares for a c20xe engine at the minuet (both distributor and dispack engines) so if there is a part that you want then I may have it anyway

HT leads from a dispack c20xe. There are untested so can't confirm if they are OK but they don't appear to have any breaks in them or damage. I have more than one set of these.
