I hope this is in the right section, Im no expert on mini's!
Red & Silver Mini Cooper Sport, X-Reg, 36,600 miles for sale.
Selling this on behalf of my Mum, as following a recent operation she has been advised not to drive. To say this is a reluctant sale is an understatement, and the whole family will be massively sad to see her go (the car is better known as Mable).
My Mum has been the owner since February 2004, and has always had her serviced and well looked after. She has only EVER driven classic minis in her entire life, so for her it will be the end of an ere.
It has the normal chunky 14” cooper sport alloy wheels in great condition, with good tires, full leather interior, driver’s airbag, alarm/immobilizer, chrome inside door handles and the original cd player, and the hugely bright four spot lights up front. The interior of this car is in great condition.
Its actually just sitting on the driveway SORN as my mum hasn’t driven for some time so it seemed the right thing to do. The MOT ran until 9/5/2012, and the car was last serviced on 11/5/11, so please do bear this in mind if you are interested as both will need to be sorted. We have most of the receipts from past services & Mot’s etc, certainly the most current ones.
Good bits: Great classic car, well looked after by dedicated owner, and has been well loved, lots of service history, spare key and the original mini log book.
Bad bits: Few small spots of rust. Following a fuel theft, the fuel gauge no longer works. This is apparently quite common and an easy fix (according to our local mini specialist). From the first day of ownership, there has been a different key for the drivers & passengers door which we have just got used to. We have however been in possession of two new barrels for ages that we have never got around to fitting. These are also included.

She doesn’t feel confident selling a car and having strangers in the house, and has asked me to do it on her behalf (she would definitely be there when it does sell to ensure its going to a good home and also to say farewell through watery eyes!)
