i know some things with the clutch has to be changed, how do i know if the clutch has been swapped already, it has a Ap road/race clutch installed, what else would need to be done, i know some parts from the 998 has to be converted over to the metro, but what exactly has to be over and how do i know whats already been swapped from previous owner

and for a 1380 is it needed to run a oil cooler?

Just use the new flywheel clutch if you wish....or the one from the 998. The only mods are in the top water pipe /thermostat area - just fit the parts from the old 998 instead. You will need a bracket to hold the rad - easy to make one from flat strip steel.
