I really wan't to stick to the standard seats that came with my mini but want them in black leather or black vinyl. They're the same shape as the sidewalk seats etc. Its a Mini 35
Was wondering if anyone has had these seats re-trimmed if so what in and how much? Thanks

It's quite common, I've seen a lot of minis at shows with standard seats retrimmed and in my opinion, looks good. The shape of the seats suits minis, it's just the trim which isn't so acceptable in the 21st century (some interiors did look good standard).
Prices depend on whether you're fitting yourself at home: Rears are easy to do, done them myself, I've heard fronts are harder though. It's quite common to donate you're seats (in acceptable condition) and get different seats back which have been re-trimmed. Then whether you want vinyl or leather.
It will probably be cheaper to buy after-market seats, even if you do re-trim them at home, but standard seats trimmed to colours which match the car look great.
Try http://www.minitrimmings.com, and I think optimise automotive are now doing seat re-trimming and you should get TMF+ discount, which will more than pay for the £5 subscription.

Hmm, I wan't the whole package to be under around £500 as thats what the after market set of seats, Subby's and rear seat cover are going to cost. If its around that then I will probably go for the standard ones :).
Thanks for the help. Tfclan!
