just tack oversils on, then sickerflex over the top , that is a top quality repair!
oh and underseal so the mot man cant tell:P

At least they welded a patch in over it instead of the usual cardboard, duct tape, tin foil, filler, seam sealer, fibreglass, baked bean can etc.

I had two patches welded over the top of each other at one point on my mini. A large section of my sill was replaced.

My 1980 mini 1000 has oversills on, not welded to the lip and a little seam weld to the floor every foot or so, it's not im use.

Im glad to be honest, makes it easy for me to remove!

my Mini guy found this crap in mine when doing it up :( :angry:
