Okay so I am trying to figure out what exhaust is on My mini as it came with the car. (Don't need to know. Just would like to for when I make a proper write up for shows and before and after booklet)

It looks like an RC40 side exit, maybe a 2" bore. I have one on mine.

I thought that, how would I measure the bore? what is bore Measure the tail pipe lol

Will get some tomorrow. Its night lol, i had a look under the car though, its only got a back box no extra silencer, then its just a straight through pipe up to the manifold.

It could also be a fletcher exhaust

The bore is the measurement of the inside of the cylinder. I think its just the size of the rear pipe.

Ok, well I will have a look tomorrow. Its near enough Identical other than dirt to the one on the red Spi, which was featured in Mini Magazine Issue: 200

Deffinetly looks 2" to me. I have a similar pic size & angle of my mini with a 1.75" exhaust & yours looks slightly bigger

For loudness yes I agree but performance wise I think 2" is too big unless your mini is greater than 1275cc

It's 1275cc carb engine. But to be honest perfectly honest, I like the low rumble it gives so its staying plus I think it looks great too.
