"mini sprite 1275 with alleycat 13" alloys and animal body kit
i bought this car in 2006 completely standard it was on the road but had a dent on the offside front wing
i decided to start tidying it up so cut off the wing only to reveal extensive rot behind
so i set too and completely stripped car and welded inner wings, os door pillar, both sills , a panels ,complete front panel, new wings ,windcreen corners, rear valance , rear wheel arches ,half boot floor .
the floor at the front had already been welded by someone else
once that lot was sorted i fitted a new rear subframe, radius arm bushes ,new shoes and drums , discs pads and calipers, completely repiped brakes including flexi hoses and new handbrake cables .
i fitted new front top and bottom ball joints and bump stops
once all the mechanical stuff was sorted i spent 4 months fitting an animal body kit and smoothed it in and painted it ford monza blue added some 13inch alley cat alloys and finished it off with some black and chrome trim
the windows were fitted back in with limo back window tint film and i started on the interior
for a sound system a fitted a 1000 watt amp ,12 inch sub, pair of 6x9s and pair of 5" midis
together with a dvd player head unit with 3 screens (1 front 2 rear)
i added a twinpipe stainless steel back box which sounds awesome
the engine by the way is completley standard apart from previous owner converted it to a carb instead of injection
the car was motd and put back on the road thats where the project ran out of steam
i never finished the interior so there is no carpets or sound proofing
the car has been parked up in a warehouse where i work for the past year and a half and due to marriage break up im going to have to sell it as it wont finish itsself and im sure plenty of people will be interestd in it
the car is being sold as a 85% finished project mechanically it is sound and i undersealed it all well and it has been stored undercover so all the body work shoulkd be fine .
the body kit could do with some tidying up cracks have appereaed in the filler and paint has flaked from these in places"
