As it says really, I was driving home today and the wheel arch trim flew off the front nearside! >_<

Two questions:
1) Judging from the photo above, will I get away with driving it for a few days until I can get hold of a replacement one? The wheel does stick out, but only just (for reference, they're standard 12" Mpi alloys)

2) Which is the right part to get that would match the rest? It's a '97 non-sportspack Mpi, and I'd like to keep it standard. Ideally I'm after just replacing that one as the others are still (relatively) firmly attached...

I think you would probably get away with it until you get a replacement. If the plod actually even noticed in the first place, I think they're probably more interested in boy racers who are openly flouting the law with the wide wheels they have fitted, as opposed to something that has obviously just fallen off. Besides your defence can always be "Missing wheel arch Officer??...What missing wheel arch??" :whistling:

And from the pic it looks like you're just missing a standard Rover plastic wheel arch (so called "special" arches as they were 1st fitted to the 1100 specials, or so I believe ) http://www.minispare...|Back to search

....Oh & if you want to keep it totally original, you will also need four of these special black headed pop rivets, to fit your new replacement arch with. http://www.minispare...|Back to search
