well i'm praying i should have my mini on the road in a few days and got a few questions.

when i brought it the guy gave me this description:

NEW BUILT ENGINE,METRO TURBO BLOCK BORED TO 1293CC,NEW OMEGA PISTONS 5mm DISH,STANDARED TURBO CRANK,NEW MAINS,NEW BIGENDS,CENTRE MAIN STRAP,NEW HIGH PRESSURE OIL PUMP,BIG VAVE HEAD,POLISHED PORTED,BROZE GUIDES,NEW DOUBLE HEAVEY DUTY VALVE SPRINGS,STANDARED T3 TURBO,NEW AVONBAR 13 PSI ACTUATOR,NEWAVONBAR DUMP VALVE,NEW AVON BAR 10 PSI CARB NEEDLE,NEW 2" AVON BAR DOWN PIPE,NEW GROUP A SILENCER,RS TURBO INTER COOLER FRONT MOUNTED,NEW HELL OIL COOLER WITH BRADED HOSES,NEW TURBO CLUTCH,RECON TURBO GEAR BOX WITH CENRE OIL PICK UP,DUPLEX TIMING GEAR,STANDART TURBO CAM,FRONT MOUNTED RADIATOR,SOLID ENGINE MOUNTS,ALL NEW GASKETS AND SEALS,AND MUCH MORE,I HAVE STARTED IT AND IT SOUNDS GREAT.


what sort of power can i expect?
what future mods could i do not going silly and giving me reliability problems?

i think performence wise u'll get about 110-120bhp?

i wouldnt bother with other mods if i was u it will become unreliable! keep it as it is but maybe in the future got for a offset dish piston

Ditch the standard cam straight away..

5mm pistons?? I presume he means 5cc? Which doesn't sound much..

Just restore to former glory will have a figure of about 100bhp...

You can get OVER 200 bhp with these little beasts, but if you like changing gearboxes, then go for it...

As anything over 120bhp, will put excess stress onto the box... well not bhp, but the torque will.

thanks, i plan on changing the cam in the winter when it come off the riad again and just run it in this summer......other than that prob just keep it as it is if you think it will become to unreliable
