Hi

I want to get some hazard lights on my 1966 van ....... and saw the kit below on the moss site. is this the best/easiest way of doing it ...... or can it be done easily with separate bits?

That certainly looks the easiest way of doing the job but it really isn't that difficult so you could buy the separate parts and save a little. Convenience or cost?

Its an easy job to wire a new Hazard switch into the indicator circuit, in terms of cost and convenience i'd stick with the moss kit it also has a retro feel to it. The alternative is a hazard switch from a later car which means changing the switch panel and the other switches or a custom made mounting bracket.

You've probably worked this out but your need an additional flasher unit.

I took the DIY method myself - purely because i was adding other stuff too.

That kit was going to be my alternative.

At the time, I thought that the kit looked expensive. But by the time you buy wire, a bracket, tell-tale light, relay, fuse and switch the costs mount up if you want it to look period. Modern looking switches and relays are ten-a-penny. But I thought they would look odd on my 64 and 67
