I think there is a thread about have we got the whole set yet, and that may have dates on it, im not sure :)
oh and there was a unrestored one that sold recently which I think i read was 8th off the production line but that may be my imagination :)

This has become a myth based on chassis numbers. The oldest Mini is actually the one that even Issigonis has been photographed standing next to with a sign clearly saying Mini no.1 - 621 AOK at the Gaydon museum. You would think Issigonis might actually know. Mini Magazine did an article a couple of years ago proving this on the evidence of a man actually involved in building it.The two oldest Minis in existence are in Japan in full working order.

621 AOK is so far from its original specification that its not even the most original 1959 mini in the BMIHT collection.
Even so its still number 1 in build.
