Hi,
I've recently discovered that my mini is leaking, I'm pretty sure its coming through the door as there is water in the bottom of the door.
While searching through all the leak threads drainage holes were mentioned and I've just checked and my doors haven't got any, so I'm gonna drill some tomorrow, so I've got a few questions:

What size drill bit should I use?

How far apart and how many are there?

Is putting to hammerite on the hole going to be enough to prevent rust?

thanks.

Three holes 1/4" dia should be fine one in the middle and then one at each end by the curved section Try and drill as close to the radius of the internal door frame flange as possible but don't drill into the door skin. Then paint (don't use Hammerite use normal paint) and then waxoyl inside the door but make sure your new drain holes are clear.
