Last week i placed an order with mini spares to the value of $400 AUD
I explained to them i would like it posted same day if possible (Tuesday) They said no worries. The reason why is because there are some parts i would need before the weekend so i can fit them to my mini and take it to get its road worthy certificate done..

I patiently wait for my UPS tracking number on Tuesday evening.. No email and neither has my credit card been charged.
So i call them up on Wednesday and send an email to see if it can get dispatched the same day.
They said yeah yeah and that was it.. No email from UPS and my card has still not been charged..

Thursday come around the corner..
I call minispares up and speak to someone from shipping.. They are no help... So i then to speak to Ivan and he is the only person who was able to give me a proper answer on what happened.. well not really but the package did go out on Thursday, A few days late and meaning i would have to re book my road worthy inspection.

Not to mention they deleted and restricted me to posting on their facebook wall after a rant which contained no vile language and double charged my credit card.

Are there any mini shops around which care about their customers? After my latest experience with mini spares i don't think they do care about customers.
When i am shopping for mini parts next I rather throw my money at another mini company.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a company as good as Minispares. Your's seems to be a fairly isolated incident, as most of us have received good service from them.
Rather than complain on their facebook page, you might phone them up and tell them of your displeasure with their service, that way they have a chance to rectify it properly. A rant on a facebook page is completely anonymous to them.
Did you pay the extra charge for express delivery?

I have not had any problems in the past with them or any other company.
I sent them an email last Thursday and I still have not received an email back from them.
I did pay extra charge for express delivery.. UPS express saver was the option and i should be getting it some time today.

Generally it is the same supplier on components.

I hear a lot more about Minispares bad delivery times (even if you pay express delivery).

I have never had an issue with minisport or Minits

Wood and picket off eBay and P&L minis are the best for me as their prices are so much better.

Not putting down Minispares but its a simple fact.

No quality issues with them yet...

I ordered a stainless bumper from minispares and 2 welds broke as i was bolting it onto the bumper lip.. Not worth sending the bumper back to the uk from aus..

I will keep an ear out for wood and picket and P&L, I just hope they ship to Australia.

Delivery is going downhill rapidly. Ive used them for years but last few orders have been a nightmare with deliveries taking up to a week to arrive. Minisport on the other hand offer reasonably cheap 48hr delivery and have yet to be late. Role reversal for once!

With regards to the quality of Minisport's products; I have ordered radius arm recon kits from both, and found the metal on nuts and bolts to be much softer in the kit supplied from Minisport, when compared to Minispares'.
For this reason alone, I chose to use Minispares over Minisport. I'd hate to drive a car knowing I've used nuts and bolts of a standard lower than what is available to me.
I'm sure, however, people have used lots of Minisport's products without any problem, and will continue to do so.

Try a company called Karcraft, They are based in Sydney and sell mini parts.. They are cheaper for smaller items and they get it from minispares.
Here you can get a set of group 2 arches (C-AJJ3316) for $114.70 AUD, I am not sure if they post over seas.

I have found Hudderfield mini spares to be excellent, They are cheap and have a good range. I am going to order some cobra classics from them next month.

I have just placed an order for some parts off minispares to try and give them another chance.. Hopefully i was an isolated incident.
I called up asking if it could be sent off today and spoke to Ivan, He is the only guy that is ever willing to help :)
Hopefully these items wont arrive delayed.

I bumped into a lady mini owner in Hawera last year on my travels, who had to use a shipping container for all her red Mini's Minispares's parts. Makes me feel lucky living in North West England for something for once !
