Is it defienately beyond use? As some people may buy. If not you can get metal weighed in as scrap for a bit of extra cash :)

scrap steels only about £130 a ton i think, so you'll get about 50p for an exhaust, lol.

i just leave it on me drive and let the tatters pick it up when they come past.

I think you need a scrap license (free) to sell scrap metal to a yard these days.
Least, thats what the guys at our local yard say.

Failing that, have you got a civic amenities site near by? Ours takes garden wasted, household waste, metal, wood, carpet, tyres, oil, the works

Yep same here. Wait for the man in his van to come and get it.

Ooooh Shiny bits! :teehee:

Don't know what happened to mine when it got replaced during an MOT. I never saw the old, holey bit...

Could make a feature out of it for something?.. Garden? A wall somewhere?

I would not leave anything out on my drive, for the local ( dubious ) scrap men, gives them a excuse to nose around.

Liam, your in Bradford just leave it outside your house and the Rag and Bone man will have it. I've seen loads with a horse and cart around Bradford.

Haha don't really want to give them anything... I have a feeling they nicked my black minilite alloys! When I was doing an engine change I had them come round 3 times asking about any scrap and one asked if he could have my old wheels! Sometime after when I got back from work in scotland I realised they were gone... My mum must've left the garage unlocked and they had a lucky little day!

Also my grandad had to chase them out of his garden because they were trying to nick his ladders!

Just take it down the scrap yard, or the local tip
