Hi all,

I when to a car meet which is on every wensday in the 1st and 3rd week of every month. I was talking to an old bloke and he said he had been going for years. I only live a couple of miles away and it was the first time I hade been. There are a few old minis, old beetles, old campers, deloreans, stratos, mk2 escort, 2 old mustangs. I also hear that there a gt40 replica what goes every few weeks. I was most interested in the turbo mini the bloke made it look really nice and its 170 BHP. Every one talks to each other about the cars and you don't have to own a great car to go, it dosen't cost you anything to look at the cars or park yours on there. Its a great atmosphere and everyone has a great time standing around talking and having a drink.

Cars meet at 6PM onwards and its at griffins head papplewick. Hope you come to have a look at the cars or to show yours.

I was going to go to this last night, but I took one look at the sky and had second thoughts

hope to see you sometime, there was a bloke with a tr4 absolutley spotless and he was wiping the rain off as it was landing on the car! abit sad but it was amazingly clean!

i didn't get there untill about 7:45 so I must of missed him. theres cars there from 6 untill 9:30, In fact the bloke who i was talking to said hes been there untill its dark before! Suppose it depends on the weather.

I went a few times last year, managed to get to the one three weeks ago for 1st time this year.
Allways a good turn out of cars & plenty of space to park up & chat with people while having a pint & a burger
Hoping to get to the 1st of August meet if the weathers ok.
