I'd expect so since Metros also had 12" wheels.

Be aware that the vented metro turbo set up will increase your offset by a futher 10-12mm over the standard 8.4" set up. That combined with a large offset 6" wheel rim will upset the steering geometry in a big way and give you horrendous bump steer and make the car weave under exeleration.
