Getting car back from paint shop this week, had asked for standard mirror holes to be welded and painted with the idea of using one of these on the drivers side as the only outside mirror, I'll still have the interior rear view.

They sell a 3" and 4" and it looks like I can clip it on the body seam at the front.

Anyone has this and is any good?

Bought one of those at the Mini Cooper Beaulieu show and attached it, drove car less than 1/4 mile and the glass mirror popped out and fell onto the road.

if got one and it works fine,
no where near the same amount off view you get from and standard mirror tho
