I'm getting water into my footwells when driving my car in the wet. I've traced it back to two points; A) Windscreen seal is leaking in the corners. B) There seems to be water getting in where the heater intake comes through the wing into the car.

It seems to be leaking in there, running down and into the footwells. How could I seal this up and prevent water leakage?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search but couldn't find much.

Have you checked for rot around those areas, flitch panel is notorious for rusting out.

For the screen you can get tubes of clear stuff from car spares shops with a pointed nozzle that you just remove the plastic strip then squeeze a bead round the glass and body side, then put the plastic strip back in and it seals it up.

As for the under wing if memory serves me right there should be a rubber seal between the body and duct bit, so check that it there and not rotted away or its rust rot as mentioned in which case more work is needed.

Removed all underwing ducting and connectors then re assembled using seam sealer to "glue" it all together, very messy ( gloves ! ) leak free so far

No noticable rot around the areas.. it had a new front end fitted about 4 years ago apparently and the front end seems relatively good. The back end's having a lot of work done at the moment to stop leaks, and then there's only these minor ones to sort.

Thanks mate, will check this tomorrow. i have a black version of the sealant, it was what i planned to use but thought I'd check here first.
