I've not actually used them, but have owned several pairs..

The cheap ones really are crap, but the genuine much better. (Minisports 'own' are actually just the cheapo ones that most places sell for half the price!!!).

I think the only difference between minifins and super minifins are that the super minifins have (so called) cooling fins on and the standard are similar to the cooper ones (look like a standard drum with a space attached)
I could be wrong but that what I thought, the quality of build should be similar.

I've got the cheaper ones, and they are good, don't see them anyway unless your going concourse, then you may want the better looking ones.. Alan.

No, they both look pretty much identicle.. The only difference being, the cheap ones have a few extra fins.

I will also add that I happened to come accross one of the non-genuine ones that had cracked!.. Up until this point I was going to buy some for my mini.

But you see the good ones could crack, who knows?, unless you work day in day out on minis how can you Judge one against the other, only done 3k with mine but still look ok because I've just had them off cleaned and adjusted them.. Alan

Id rather spend the money upgrading the front brakes, the ones that actually do some work...

You're correct, and I agrea, but the only experience of them braking is the cheap ones.. Hence the reason I'd go for the expensive ones which look much better made.

Well my story for so far...On about a year ago I started to replace the lower panel on the rear, ok so I took the grinder to remove iit and... here wel go there came styrofoam free with a lot of filler so after all i could replace the rear lower panel, the 2 closing panels, 2 coreners of the boot, the rear boot panel, the battery caseing( soory if my English is not so very good) then the panel under the rear seat the rear sumframe, and then all the bearings, brakes and stuff well I still busy so that can also be done at once so I m pretty busy with all an inded you guys are absolute riht about the front brakes stiil I want the 4 pots calipers for 10 inch so some parts i already have to do the front drum to calipers but first tihings first

No they are not, they are made in house in Padiham........

I'd get your facts right before making relating a quality product to a chinese copy equivalent.

Can I ask how you know this?

Its what I've read on here, and put them next to each other they look exactly the same with the same differences from the genuine ones.

They even both had the same scratch marks on the inside- presumably part od the manufacturing process?
