i recently purchased a 1973 morris mini, as a restoration project for my first car
i am currently in the process of buying new parts to make this a complete car, just a quick question: i have seen alot of bodykits for the classic mini's and would like to know do you think i should get one or keep mine original and if so, why?
Many Thanks.

Keep the car looking standard. Body kits look poo on a mini but that's my personal take on it. You can make a mini look very good with the standard bodywork. Some good quality wheels, arches if you like that sort of thing and a good quality paint job.

Keep it standard, minis are getting rarer by the day and as said above a decent set of arches and nice rims you'll have a winner.

i personally like body kits, well to a reasonable degree
but as said above, mini's with out body kits will be worth more as there won't be as much filler to hide rust................unless of course you have a mini like a BAC-M30, ERA turbo or a german export mini thirty which came standard with body kits

No point ruining a 73 with a body kit... mk3's are getting rare now.
