I have been fitting a pair of angel eye headlights with the crystal beam reflectors.
Easy to fit and really look the part. Well worth the £40 quid.
When I try the side lights with ignition off the LED rings lights up only and full headlights switched on bring on the LED ring and the main bulbs.
However when the ignition is on full (engine running) the LED ring is on with side light but the main bulbs light up a little also.
Is this right or has anyone had this before ?

Do they just take the normal headlmap plugs, as in just swap over and plug in, of did you have to fiddle with wiring??

It's dim dip, not needed by law, sinply disconnect the black connector near the resistor, which is located by the radiator. I made a thread on this a week or so ago
