Hi,

I am running a 1330cc, with a stage 3 head, 1.5 hi-lift rockers, 286 kent cam, duplex timingchain and twin hs2's but the car was running on a manual fuel pump, but is now broken.

My question today is which fuel pump do i go for, a manual fuel pump again, road race facet fuel pump or a electric fuel pump?

If i go for any of the electric fuel pumps how are these fitted, as i have never played around with these. What other parts would i need for the electric fuel pump?

Any help is really appreciated.

Thank You

Bobby

That is the basic Facet "cube" pump. They have been around for years. When selecting one, be aware that they are available in different pressure ranges. You want a low-pressure one, one that delivers 3 PSI or less. If you choose one with over 3 PSI you need to fit a pressure regulator before the SU carbs to drop the pressure so it does not overpower the float valve in the carb.

The cube pumps work well for years and are less expensive than their "gold-flow" interrupter pumps. (product flier link below)

I have used both. Cubes are less expensive, gold-flow are more expensive, larger, but quieter.
