Am i right in thinking you can only fit sliding perspex windows to street fighter doors? could you fit mk1 windows to them?

I'm pretty sure you could fit Mk1 glass windows.

Best person to ask would be an employee of the Minidoor company. I don't think there are many people (if any at all) on the forum with streetfighters. There mainly a track car or occasional use door since the aluminium skin dents alot easier than the steel skins.

hello, i have streetfighters (have a looky in my project thread). you have the option to order them with polycarb sliders aka mk1 style. so yes mk1 glass shouldnt be a problem although i guess slightly defeats the object of uber light doors?

http://www.minidoor.co.uk/ - i forget the guys name, but give him a tinkle i found him very helpful.

And be careful with the website address, theres the one above and another like www.minidoors.co.uk and they are two different companies in different locations that do almost exactly the same things!

neil - have you got fixed windows then?

I was thinking of mk1 perspex windows instead of glass to help save weight. would they still be water tight etc?

I've wanted to know about the security aspect of these windows. I want some low weight doors (probably carbon) but am sure about the Mk 1 style glass or perspex windows being secure enough.
