Am having car re-painted with new doors and wont be making holes for mirrors. Instead I want to use the below. I ordered it thinking I could clamp it onto the body seam between the door and the windscreen, but the clamp is at the wrong angle.

Could it be possible to attach it to the door frame where the rubber window channel fits in?
