Just been setting up the head, before I bolt it down just wondering the best one to use?
I've got 1 set which is a one piece hammer style

The other looks like pressed steel!!

Running a 266 cam on 12g295.

Thanks
Paul.

Use the pressed steel and pay attention to rockers geometry.
Sintered rockers are total crap.
At half of the cam lift the rocker should sit at a 90° angle to the rocker post, use thin spacers to achieve that.

That's good advice. If you are going to use very high spring rates, high-lift cam and high revs it's a good idea to run a line of weld across the top joint line of the pressed rockers to prevent the possibility of the rockers 'spreading'.

Engine now secured, got the bypass pipe sorted on the head. Waiting for the waterpump and head gasket sets. Got hold of a verto clutch arm and slave.
Should be back on the road mid week.
I'll pop over with your jack too.
Oh and lost a ball joint nut. It's in one of my boxes of bits somewhere.

The pressed steel rockers are indeed the better option - but are likely to be rather worn..........seriously consider fitting a new shaft........
