    Starting My Mini Up

I'm just about to start the rebuild of my 1100 block and ideally want to replace the main bearing cap bolts. However, it looks like the standard replacement ones (12A1910) are on long term back order or no longer available (Minisport don't have them listed, Minispares have them on back order since last year, Somerford's supplier don't have them either). I looked at ARP ones but they only seem to do studs for the Cooper S block. Can other blocks take the ARP studs or am I missing an obvious solution to this?

Thanks
Cameron

Hi Cameron,
The only places that seem to stock these bolts are in America.
Mini Mania are selling them at $5.95 each!
Cheers, Steve

What's wrong with the old bolts ??? Very very unlikely to give any problems - just re-use them with some Loctite on the threads.
