Can anyone tell me the proper method to install the 'wood and pickett' style arches?
They have no lip on the backside to screw to (from inside fender), the fender lip is to narrow to screw from the bottom, & not designed to have exposed front screws.
Anyone know the proper install technique? I ended up with a full set for free.
Thanks,

W&P arches screw from underneath into the lip that goes around the wheelarch (fender).
If you wanted to get clever, you could bond some bolts to the arches and fit them like sportspack type arches fit.

Putting a screw through the lip on the wheel arch just doesn't seem strong enough to me, that's such a small overlap.
I think I'll certainly consider fibreglassing some bolts in place, so they can be bolted through the wheel arch.

Dont have to just screw them in. you could always rivet them

Mine have been screwed on for three years no problem

Mine have been on & off multiple times. And they are riveted on.
I think I really need a new set now.
You may find that building up different thicknesses of washers between the arch & the body may help them fit a bit better, too. Even the genuine WP arches are a notoriously bad fit.

It's just self tapping screws that i used on mine and they are still on the car (with a different owner tho) 12 years later!
I'd get stainless steel ones mind you....and perhaps some slighlty oversize washers to spread the load
I never like the idea of rivets as you have to drill them out if the arch needs to come off and you risk drilling/damaging the arch.
