Hey Guys,
Me again, anyone sick of me yet? just trying to learn as much as possible about my new found love.....
I've got a Mini 35 and really struggling to figure out if it is a Carb or injection.
Everything I read points to a Carb, but the air intake and cooling system looks very similar to an injection also unless I'm being blind I can't see a carb anywhere near the air intake/filter?
Anyone got any ideas? picture of the engine bay here.....

35's are carb engines, post the pic somewhere else link doesn't work. I have a 35, you should be able to see the top of the dashpot through the centre of the air box. Like this;

Nope, I haven't. The engine is coming out for a full service paint and new head gasket as I don't know how old the one in there is and better to be safe than sorry. I'll let you know if anything happens after it goes back in.
Is yours white or arizona blue?

The 35 is essentially one of the last carb versions of the Mini. It was a bit of a hybrid with all of the spi additions, cat, charcoal filter, vacuum switches etc. but a HiF 38 carb. Shell is common to the spi varients, so a few bits missing, but the brackets mountings etc. all in place.
