Bypass Hose Clips

Evening all. I've got fed up with changing the bypass hose every 500 miles so bought one of these:

Now what I want to know is, after I've ripped off the water pump (replacing fan belt while I'm at it) do I need to transfer the clips from the concertinaed bypass hose to this one? It doesn't come with any clips and I'm assuming it's not so tight it just slides on...

i found i needed bigger clips, just got a couple of heavy duty jubilee clips for it instead :-)
