Hello
Im sure this topic has been asked a million times but I can only find answers for the pre-verto type clutches.
I understand that the verto clutches are ment to be self adjusting with a few presses of the peddle but that appears to make no difference.

The gears work fine and it goes into reverse no bother, the problem is the bite point is about 1mm off the floor.
Ive checked in the haynes manual but all i can find is adjusting the big nut on the end of the cone part of the engine to stop the clutch going too far into the engine.

Any ideas?

Cheers

As you say, the verto clutch system is self adjusting...

I would check your hydraulics, clutch slave & master and return spring on the clutch pedal

IT all looks to move properly thats the odd thing. pedal movement is nice and smooth both in and out, as is the movement on the slave, its just the bit point is super low
