I am looking for breakdown cover for my son's 1977 Mini 1000.

I managed to transfer my RAC cover last year which has just run out and they want £125.00 to renew!!

He mainly does local journeys with the odd longer run but I just want some cover for him as a bit of peace of mind for him and me!

I was just wondering who fellow forum users were covered with and what it cost; together with any experiences; good or bad.

I have looked on Compare the Market.com and the cheapest cover was around £50.00, but as I know; cheapest isn't always best!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Second one is Footman james I insure my mini with and it came free with the package and is a good service

Asda breakdown - cheap and costs the same every year (£70) so no messing around - covers all ages of cars unlike some - Britannia rescue network - home cover included as standard - onward travel anywhere in the UK - unlimited call outs.

Been with them for years, can't beat 'em!
