Namrick. But you "should" need very few metric bolts on a Mini. Almost everything should be UNF grade 8.8 (or the older grade S, almsot exactly the same), with a very few UNC, certainly on the engine, subframes and running gear. I know that some metrics crept in on later models, but if it is a nut and bolt, as opposed to a bolt into a tapped hole, UNF would be every bit as good, and in fact stronger. The fine thread means that the root diameter of the bolt is larger.

Go to Namrick. They are great and their prices & service are both very good.
They do kits of both UNF & Metric.

There are 3 main sizes for a Mini. 1/4" UNF, 5/16" UNF & 3/8" UNF
The starter motor and clutch slave cylinder bolts are 3/8" UNC
Namrick do a 450 piece UNF mixture which includes bolts, screws, nuts & washers. They also do a Metric mixture as well. You need to look at their web site.

You get a pretty good mixture. I tend to buy a UNF mix every few months plus a few UNC in selected sizes.

A-Series Spares should have posted back quicker. It sounds like they missed a sale. I assume this is the same A-Series Spares who is also a sponsor on The British Car Forum in the U.S.? They sell complete kits of fasteners for various models of cars (i.e. every nut and bolt you need for say... an MGB).

Tiger and I have a running discussion about fasteners. I don't wish to revisit and/or resurrect any old discussions here but just a couple of points of clarification for when you order bolts. UNF/UNC bolts are sold in "Grades", mainly Grade-5 and Grade-8. On hex bolts this is easily identified by the number of "tick marks"on the head of the bolt. Count the tick marks and add "2" . A Grade-5 bolt will have 3 tick marks. Metric bolts are sold by "Class" with 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9 being the most common. The Class number will be marked on the head of the bolt. The Grade and Class designators do sort-of cross with one another but a vendor may not understand if you ask for a "metric Grade-8 bolt" or an "Imperial Class 10.9 bolt". (Specify Grade for imperial, Class for metric).
