has anyone seen the 10 inch force racing rims that fit under 8.4 inch discs? when i get my car resprayed next year, i was gonna go for group 7's and my 13 inch superlites but now i'm very tempted to go with miglia arches and these force racing wheels. do you think they will be over arched or will they be similar in offset to the existing wheels they make?

10s all the way mate. Get the 7x10s and it will be perfect with miglia style arches.

i emailed carl at force racing, just generally asking about the rims, heres the email if any1s intersted

Hi Rob.
there not a lot more can be said about the wheels,
but you wqill need a wide GP2 arch at least to cover these with a 165 tyre.
you can also use the sportspack arch .
they do stick out a fair bit [95mm to be exact] from the mounting face to
the outer most lip of the rim.
they use a 2" innner and a 3" outer. nominally 5" but are acctually 5, 1/4"
wide, they weigh circa 2.5kgs = or -.
the spun rims are bare alloy so a regular clean and polish will be required
to keep them looking there best.
they use a modified "minilife wheel" nut. basically the sleave dia is
reduced,
i can supply at cost to me of £34 per 16no.
as i'm sure yo understand ther shallow inner rim does not actually go over
the caliper but sits outside it.
they will only fit standard mini brakes with 8.4" setups and smaller. not
metro brakes.have you seen any pics of these wheels on a car on the net
anywhere, if not i'll forward if needed.

regards carl

iv asked 4 pics, i will post them up when he sends them, i really woulnt mind a set tho, or would it be worth going all the way and getting the cooper s brakes?

So does anyone have pics of these on a mini?? Cant get my head round how far they would stick out of the arches compared to a normal 6x10 wheel/tyre combination...
