If the underside is as solid as the upper bodywork appears to be and he has the V5, then I'd guess it's worth about £800?

Assuming the cheap brown '70s paint job isn't hiding too much and the rest of the shell is ok(ish), i'd be happy to part with £1200 for it, possibly up to £1500.

Yes, £9k! I've been promised first refusal for a number of years by a friend of a friend. Then the guys son listed it for him after seeing a 59 going for £40k at an auction LOL. When he said nine, I thought he meant hundred not thousand. I thought £1500 tops as it is very solid. Gold paint though!

Is it the original plate and is it transferable?? What i'm getting at here irrespective of the 59 going for £40k is the number plate worth a lot of money hence the price or is it hes trying it on with regards to the 59 Mini??
